The Simple answer is no CBD will not make you fail your drug test.
Most CBD products contain little to no THC. Since drug tests that are done by employers and the state often test for just THC and hard drugs. The CBD or cannabidiol in CBD is not tested for in most drug tests. The only exception to this rule might be some full spectrum CBD products. Since full spectrum CBD products have parts of the flower that they are made from, in the products that are made from them, they could potentially cause you to fail a drug test. But, only if they were made with a marijuana flower instead of a hemp flower (CBD can be made from either plant). In that case, then it could contain trace amounts of THC that could set off a positive response on your drug test. Inversely CBD isolate, the preferred pharmaceutical version of CBD, will not show up on any drug test at all. Because those products made with CBD isolate only contain pure CBD with no plant particles in them at all.
Since some CBD full spectrum products could theoretically set off a drug test. It is important that when you are using CBD products you first find out if your product is made from full spectrum CBD or made from pure CBD isolate. If it is made from CBD isolate then obviously you have nothing to worry about. However, if it is made with CBD full spectrum then you will want to ask the company for its testing or check the ingredients on the packaging to see how much THC if any is actually in the product. This way you can be sure that you are not going to accidentally take something that would make you fail your drug test. People who give drug tests have little patience for people who fail and they will not be sympathetic to your “I only took CBD and I did not know what I was doing” excuse for failing. So make sure you know exactly what you are ingesting before you take it whenever you do any CBD product.
For this reason and just for your general knowledge it is important to always review what type of CBD products you are about to be taking before just squirting a pile of CBD tincture in your mouth. As far as CBD goes micro brands are not like microbreweries with good tasting beers. Buyer beware with CBD bought from micro brands. There is a heck of a lot of CBD being produced in bathroom gins these days, so it is always a good idea to buy from a reputable company, Companies like Pure Clear Hemp, Charlotte’s Web, Medterra, Bluebird Botanicals, Blue Moon Hemp, CBDMD, and Green Roads are all great choices that you can trust in the CBD industry. Remember you are putting this stuff in your body, so you want to make sure that it is of a consistent and high-quality distributor. Making CBD the right way is expensive and requires a lot of fo attention to detail. So you should always go with top brands that can afford to create their CBD the right way and then reproduce those good results over and over again for their users.
