What is Cannabinol?

Cannabinol is known as CBN. It’s one of the more mildly psychoactive compounds found in marijuana. CBN is the best sedative in the world because it has about 10% of THC’s psychoactive effects. The best part is, is it won’t get you high. The best way to try CBN is by letting your flower go stale so it’s THC can degrade to CBN. CBN works as an amazing anti-inflammatory agent in your body. It stimulates the release of pesticides from the sensory nerves which helps decrease pain sensation cannabinoids found only in small trace amounts of aged cannabis. CBN acts as a partial substance to the CB1 receptors but has a higher affinity to CB2 receptors. It has Indica like effects in terms of reducing pain and inflammation, offering sedative, body-driven effects while stimulating the appetite.

The growers have noted that the longer you can hold off until harvesting, it would be better. They say later harvests can generate higher CBN content in cured flower. It only makes sense, given that CBN is a breakdown product of THC. The longer a bud is exposed to the elements (especially heat and UV light), the more CBN is likely to form. The process for making it will be great for all your inflammatory needs.

CBN also stimulates the release of peptides from sensory nerves which will help lighten your pain level. “According to new research, the painkilling effects of CBN are independent of CB1 and CB2 receptors and probably come from another cannabinoid receptor that has yet to be discovered. I would like to let all of you know that taking  CBN is great and all, but the high it leaves you with can make you feel groggy and disoriented or discombobulated at times. If you have problems sleeping at all, then CBN could be the answer for you. It’s go time people, throw away those sleeping pills and get some CBN. It is very useful for an array of medical issues and act as a useful anti-inflammatory, and or antibacterial treatment among other things.
